THE GARDEN

VILLA SORO

Thanks to its garden, Villa Soro is the only hotel in San Sebastián that offers the sensation of being in the middle of the countryside, despite being in the heart of the city. It was created by Pierre Ducasse, the gardener of the Royal Palace, who also designed the Miramar, Aiete and Cristina Enea Parks in San Sebastián.

The main room is a welcoming space both in winter with the fireplace, and in summer, flooded with natural light.  The original wooden floor, the large comfortable sofas, the antiques and the grey and reddish tones invite you to read, relax or chat with friends over a coffee or a cocktail.

In the hotel bar, the aroma and taste are provided by the meticulously selected local delicatessen products, such as Cantabrian anchovies, Cinco Jotas ham or Rioja Alavesa wine and traditional products from San Sebastián.  Enjoy the possibility of having something to eat and drink in the sunshine on the garden terrace.

Cycle around Donostia

For getting around the city, Villa Soro offers its guests bikes since San Sebastián is an ideal place to pedal around. The network of bike lanes is 75 kilometres long and runs past the hotel.
